The journey toward discipleship requires learning, making spiritual growth in a Christ-follower’s life a biblical expectation.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” II Peter 3:18

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12

CHRIST-FOLLOWERS NEED TO BE GROWING SPIRITUALLY. Therefore, within the church there should be an expectation of increasing devotion to Christ and His cause, as well as a plan to promote and equip Christ-followers for such growth.
