Men

There is a heart for men at the core of our ministry here at South Baptist.  The unique needs of men today and the difficult cultural environment they must navigate through, make it vitally important that we do all we can to encourage all men to step up and fulfill their God-given role today!  Through a variety of opportunities, we want to see this happen: 

• Wednesday night study groups focus on a variety of topics relevant to men, and also dedicate time to prayer.  This is the “Main Event” for Men’s Ministries. 
• Regular group activities foster a sense of community and friendship.  Some of these activities include: Lansing Lugnuts Game, Men’s Night Out/Christmas Shopping, and Habitat for Humanity Work Day. 
• Accountability groups help men keep their commitments to Christ and their families. 

Service opportunities like Widow’s Might enable men to use their gifts and skills to help meet other’s needs.
