Pastor Brandon joined the pastoral staff in September 2013.
Brandon’s testimony: “I grew up in a Christian home where I placed my trust in Christ at a young age. I dedicated my life to Christ in high school, and it was at that time that God began to lead me towards full-time, vocational ministry. My wife Erin and I both graduated from Cedarville University in the Spring of 2006. We met back home in Michigan after we graduated, and married on January 5, 2008. We both have a love for people and a desire to make disciples.”
Brandon was born and raised in Fenton, and has served in church ministries in Illinois and Michigan, prior to coming to South. He and Erin (born and raised in nearby Goodrich) are enjoying ministry at South!
A Scripture passage that is especially meaningful to Brandon is Philippians 2:5-11 – “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, Who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (ESV)
God has blessed Brandon and his wife Erin with two children: their son, Grayson, and their daughter, Zella. Brandon loves spending time with his family, listening to and making music, watching and participating in sports, and going to Disney World! Oh, and he also loves cheese. Any kind of cheese.
