2016 ThemeThis next year our church will begin a new theme. A theme that we believe is very relevant to us and the world that we live in. 2016 is going to be all about “Broken to Restored” As a result of sin, we live broken lives, in a broken world. Thankfully, God has created a way to see restoration brought to many of the things broken by sin. This year we will focus on his restoration to very specific areas that have been broken.

Core Classes will once again follow our theme for the year. And starting on January 3rd, individuals who are within the age range of 51 to 65 will meet in room 304 where they will be studying, “Creation Unraveled: The Gospel According to Genesis (Chapters 1-11).”
Here is what your teacher has to say about this class…

“Who Broke This??!!”

Have you ever walked into a room and asked that question? While I’m pretty sure God didn’t ask that question (although He did go looking for the culprit) we do need to start at the beginning to figure out the “broken” before we can really understand and explore the “restored.” In this study, with brief video segments, we will explore the first eleven chapters of Genesis. I know, you’ve heard it all before, but we need to realize that Genesis is the beginning of the single, unified message of God’s process of restoring us to Him.

“The words we read in Genesis are the same words that provided hope for hungry Israelites in the wilderness, breathed courage into the heart of David in the most difficult moments of his life, and fed the soul of Jesus Himself during His time on earth. God’s promises are as relevant today as they were ‘in the beginning.'”
