Adam Farmer takes us back into our study of the book of 1 Corinthians. The Apostle Paul sent this letter to the young church that was meeting in the ancient city of Corinth. They had some problems, and Paul was trying to help them. One of the problems causing division in this young church was that people were following their favorite spiritual leader, rather than following Jesus Christ. The church had been helped by some great leaders: Peter, Apollos and even Paul himself! However, Paul reminds the Corinthian church, and our church today, that the only One worthy of our following is Jesus Christ Himself. He is the One we all should be following. To follow anyone other than Jesus Christ will only lead to disappointment and division! Paul reminds us that church unity comes as we all follow Jesus, not men.
