2016 ThemeThis next year our church will begin a new theme. A theme that we believe is very relevant to us and the world that we live in. 2016 is going to be all about “Broken to Restored” As a result of sin, we live broken lives, in a broken world. Thankfully, God has created a way to see restoration brought to many of the things broken by sin. This year we will focus on his restoration to very specific areas that have been broken.

Core Classes will once again follow our theme for the year. And starting on January 3rd, individuals who are within the age range of 41 to 50 will meet in room 410 where they will be studying, “Rebuilding Your Broken World: How God Puts Broken Lives Back Together.” Here is what your teacher has to say about this class…

I think we will all acknowledge that we live in a fallen world. But there are specific times when each of us lives in a broken world — a loved one dies; we receive a frightening medical diagnosis; we lose a job; we face financial difficulty; a marriage falls apart; we experience problems with children or grandchildren. The list of real issues could go on and on, because lives today are filled with pain. Either through stress, pressure, unfortunate circumstances, or bad decisions, many of us find ourselves living in a world that has fallen apart.

In this series we will use the Bible, a video segment from veteran teaching pastor Chip Ingram, and group discussion to see how God can use these times of brokenness in our lives, and how we can get help to begin where we are and rebuild our broken world.
