In series of unpredictable events, David had the opportunity to take out Saul, who was in a vulnerable position. Through David's response we can learn some things! And David also is shown to be a Deliverer, a picture of Christ--our Ultimate Deliverer.
David was experiencing a time of trial and testing in his life, because God was wanting to produce some steadfastness in the one He chose to be the next king of his people, the Israelites. One by one, the crutches were removed. Pastor Scott shares how this can be a good thing.
