Christ's birth did not occur in a clean home, a neat birthing center, or hospital.  It was in the most humble place that you can imagine.  Are there any lessons that we can learn from even that? 

Today we heard from our elementary children, as they proclaimed Christ’s birth – and Pastor Scott shared about the MOST important birth announcement ever!

Jesus is the most important birth in the Bible, but the first announcement made by the Angel Gabriel was to Elizabeth and Zechariah, about their son, John. He was the forerunner to Christ - there are many interesting things in this section of the Book of Luke.

We are on a journey through the book of Luke--this week we were challenged by the first few verses, about the author, the recipient, and the purpose. That doesn't SOUND challenging, but truly, it is.
